Starting out as a one-man operation, our service has grown considerably over 30 years. Now, we are a full team dedicated to providing Nelson with quality plumbing and gas services.

Our team of fourteen master plumbers, gasfitters and drainlayers are always ready to execute quality work for every project, big or small. Locally owned and operated, we are a family-run business. We have been faithfully servicing local homes and businesses for the past 30 years.
Dennis Allen first started in a bright blue Toyota Hiace in 1988. It wasn’t long before his two sons, Mike and Rob, followed in his footsteps and expanded the business, prompting the name Allen Plumbing & Gas. Since then, our workforce has grown to fourteen tradesmen and two administrators and although we have grown in size, we still offer the same old-fashioned, friendly service and genuine passion for the work we do.
